Passive Alternatives
man, sich lassen, sein + zu and -bar adjectives.
Four common alternatives

| sich lassen + infinitive | Das Problem lässt sich lösen. | can be solved |

| adjectives in -bar / -lich | Das ist machbar / verständlich. | can be done / understood |
Why use them?
They avoid long passive chains and sound natural in formal and spoken German.
