ich, du, er, sie, es, wir, ihr, sie and the polite Sie.

du or Sie?
- du: friends, family, children, peers, most young people.
- Sie: strangers, officials, customers, older people you do not know. Always written with a capital S.
er, sie, es refer to grammatical gender
Der Tisch ist groß. Er ist neu. Die Lampe ist neu. Sie ist schön. Das Buch ist alt. Es ist gut.
Recognising sie
sie kommt = she comes, sie kommen = they come, Sie kommen = you (formal) come. The verb ending tells you which one it is.
