Verb Placement (V2 Rule)
The conjugated verb is always in position 2.
The V2 rule
In a main clause, the conjugated verb is always the second element, no matter what comes first.

Subordinate clauses
After weil, dass, wenn the verb goes to the end: Ich lerne Deutsch, weil ich in Berlin wohne.
